Tempted, as long as my half is only £3.99!
I thought that Honda was quite a good deal for a dealer

I quite liked the white and red one until I saw it has had 4 owners. Makes you wonder what's wrong with it

Re: What are you doing today ??
That's the old shape, looks a bit dated to me. The 2015 one is only 400 quid more with slightly less miles and two owners.

The other one has got too much white in it. I'm cursed when it comes to white bikes, I've had 3 so far (stolen, crashed, died) . No more

That looks quite decent. But yes....4 owners is a bit odd.

Great band....I played a show with those guys a few years back in some place off The Strip. The bassist is a sweetheart....I still stay in touch her from time to time, although I doubt she'd remember me. Glad to see that they're still getting work.Kwacky wrote:Currently at a gig waiting for the main act, Silversun Pickups

Is he the singer??.........I have no idea about these people.....Kwacky wrote:What did you make of Brian?
If that's him, then a little frustrated at having a hit song and still not being able to get a slot at one of the better clubs on The Strip. They don't call it 'Hollyweird' for nothing, I guess. But it's always who you know...and they didn't know anyone.
But understandable....you're always amped-up right after you come off-stage...takes a while to subside.
Their drummer was really, REALLY good.

It has been a hot day today so spent it in the pool. Got out long enough to drop Jen off to get her car now back in with the kids post school.

Oh....I'd love to have a go at the shark diving thing, that looks like it would be very 'calming', if that makes sense.

Had breakfast then went for a walk along Coniston Water. Found a pub on the way back. One pint may have led to 5. I didn't have any food though, it slows the drinking down.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've actually dived with about 9 different species of shark in the wild over my time diving, including these grey nurse (totally harmless btw) but I was cool to be immersed with ones that were used to people and just swam right at you, literally inches from my face.D41 wrote:Oh....I'd love to have a go at the shark diving thing, that looks like it would be very 'calming', if that makes sense.
The funniest part of the dive was when we got in, I was kneeling on the bottom waiting for the rest to get in and a big bloody turtle swam up and b!tch slapped me as he swam past
It's been an awesome weekend, I've never had someone put so much thought into spoiling me like Jess has this weekend.

Slobbing out this evening after a long drive back from The Lakes. Nice to catch yup with Pitty, Moowitch and Goose as well as John Ingram and others.
How some one as laid back of John races is beyond me. He's almost horizontal.

That's awesome Kiwi!
I've only been diving the once but I saw a shark. Having been sat at the bottom for ages waiting for everyone else to get in and worrying about my gf I hadn't given the thought of seeing a shark any time - needless to say I wasn't prepared.
Being Spanish, our diver signed everything the wrong way round meaning instead of saying "baby" and "shark".. he signed "shark" then "baby". I saw the sign for shark and instantly starting searching around me out of protection for my gf.
I didn't realise that the ray type thing in the sand was the shark I was worried about !!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Went down into the city on the bike to catch up with some friends and get the pin reset on the Multi at the same time. There's a bar and grill next to the major Ducati dealer in Sydney so had lunch there. But got there at 11 and the bar and grill didn't open till 11.30 so Donna (chick I worked with at the refinery who has a 748S) and I wandered around the dealership browsing at bikes. Got talking to a salesman who then took us up to the loft and showed us their 'collection'
Desmocedici RR, only 500 made apparently
Ex Troy Bayliss race bike (had a track day sticker on it!! )
Ex race full carbon 996
Plus heaps more, but it wasn't a public area and the salesman got called away so I didn't get any more pics.
