Ha! No chance. I'm not invited to the conference.
I have no idea what's going on at work but recently my boss has been doing a lot of stuff on his own, without the rest of us being involved. It's very frustrating.

Today?? Nothing.....I ate "omelet of fiery death" for breakfast, and I think it's about to make a re-appearance.
I'm on the chocks waiting for the starting gun.....zero-to-toilet in 2.3 seconds.
Then I'll weigh myself.

Had a refresher course on using the AED. That really is a intelligent piece of technology it tells you exactly what to do so anyone can use it. Plus it was nice getting out of doing work for 3.5hrs!

Today I am raking up leaves, and burning them on a huge bonfire.

Ah the never ending task. I borrow a Stihl backpack leaf blower for that job. It leafs the whole garden immaculate after.StMarks wrote:Today I am raking up leaves, and burning them on a huge bonfire.

We seem to have a lot more leaves this year. I'm forever sweeping up outside the house.

Sitting in the park taking 10 mins out for lunch. Despite being in the center of London there are some beautiful pockets of tranquillity.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I would suggest you both watch ebay in the summer for a Stihl BR 500, 550 or 600. They get expensive in autumn/winter but they're massively powerful blowers and really do the job.

The other advantage of a blower is you can just blow the leaves into the street

I quite like sweeping with a broom. It's rewarding and it's good exercise.DaytonAndy wrote:The other advantage of a blower is you can just blow the leaves into the street

Re: What are you doing today ??
Actually I do have a Stihl leaf blower Andy, & I've been using that to condense my area's of leaves making loading them into my dumper truck easier.
Incidentally you missed off by the most valuable task that the blower should be used for.: I use mine to dry my bike off after washing it. Solves all that hassle with brake pads rusting the discs etc..

The first of four window companies we are seeing today - if one of them tries the hard sell i'm being very rude.. Hopefully not as we have avoided the like of safestyle etc..

I nipped round after work to see Viv/Scarlet for a catch up and a cuppa. She's doing really well with the photography. She looks much healthier and happier as well. It's amazing what benefits there are doing something you enjoy.
