Re: What you watching?
I've seen "Fractured" and "Terminal" recently.
Fractured is a bit creepy/thriller about a man who's daughter fell into a construction site. The man takes his daughter to the hospital for her injuries and the mum accompanies the daughter into the CAT scan while the dad waits outside. He has a nap and wakes up to find that no one in the hospital can locate his wife or daughter.
Terminal features Margot Robbie. Pretty much all you need to know. 2 assassins get pitted against each other like rats in a cage. Not a lot more I can say than that without giving anything away.
Im' quite glad I watched both of these, Terminal was the better of the two. Because Margot Robbie

Watched Rocket Man. Not a fan of Elton John but I appreciate his music and how big he is. Not what I expected and not as good as Bo Rap in my opinion but well worth watching. Taron Egerton played the part solidly and personally think he is a strong actor not so sure that another person would of pulled it off to be honest

I was kind of the opposite with them.....I was surprised at how good Rocket Man was, but a bit disappointed with the Queen movie.

Biopics about times i remember don't really float my boat.
I have no doubt that the reality and the films will portray very different images of both.

I figure biopics as a compressed representation rather than as a replay. You just can't fit 20 years of someone's life into 2 hours of film.

That's because I told you it's not gay if you're receiving it against your will.
Whether you enjoy it or not is another matter.

Or you could just make it up - Which is what Elton Johns previous manager reckoned they did.D41 wrote:I figure biopics as a compressed representation rather than as a replay. You just can't fit 20 years of someone's life into 2 hours of film.

Re: What you watching?
Watching our inbound flights track on radar using my phone. Technology is great.
The plane is over London but from my seat in the bar I can see people queuing at an empty gate. They havent got a clue it will be another hour yet
Oh well time for another brandy and coke

Re: What you watching?
CNN, and Trump gloating over the death of ISIS leader al-Baghdadi....the man is totally devoid of any sense of decorum whatsoever.
That said, the overall result has to be a positive one, yes?
