Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took the Multi for its first run out since i had it serviced a couple of weeks ago.
Whilst being serviced they fitted a throttle upgrade advised by Ducati ( and free).
Before the bike was very quick. Now its blisteringly very quick.
Its probably now at the limit of the amount of power i would want on a road bike as its so easy to get a bit silly.
It was trying to lift the front wheel in 4th gear at xxx mph today.

If I had to have just one bike I could be tempted by a multi. It depends what the engine feels like but they're a great piece of kit.

The engine is even smoother with the new map. They are getting to the stage where they barely feel like a twin.

No not yet, I'm a bit skint at the minute, so I only want it looking at if I can afford to fix it, struggled a couple of times to get a gear when going there and back from the mot station but not too bad.

Rode the hack to and from work as the battery was a bit on the low side and decided it needed a run out to keep.it topped up incase i get any interest in it. Got home and decided to have an evening run out and found a pub not far from me that has bike meets every Tuesday, to be fair there was a very good turn out so glad i found it, good roads around it too, they actually have a bike ahow and bbq this sunday but im out with the mrs for her bday otherwise i think id tag along to that.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Well after the 600rr came back from Spain it wouldn't start, and after the trip there was a few things that needed doing.
Fork seals were weeping so had them replaced and a fork service as well.
QA throttle needed, new Domino one fitted
New front and rear sprockets and chain, now -1 front and +1 rear
New HM QS, the reason why the bike wouldn't start the control box on the old one had packed up.
So put the bike bike back together tonight, just need a TD now to test her out.

Bored on the way into work so I was practising clutchless upshifts on the Versys. I doubt it was designed for the type of riding I was doing this morning

Well done on the sale. Shame about the money going on a car though. Surely your bike needs bling?

It does, and I got more than I needed so that will be going on the MT, and maybe a track day for it......Was thinking of trying lydden hill, its used for supermoto, was thinking it might suit the MT

I've done Lydden half a dozen times, it's a simple track, but hard to get right every lap. It's all second and third, with a double apex that cost me a broken rib.Cavetroll87 wrote:It does, and I got more than I needed so that will be going on the MT, and maybe a track day for it......Was thinking of trying lydden hill, its used for supermoto, was thinking it might suit the MT
You'll get more track time there than at any other track I've visited, as one group goes in, the next is waved out, I was knackered every time I rode it.
