Watching a series of YouTube videos where the host breaks down rock songs into their component parts/tracks....makes one guitar sound like two, two sound like one, etc.

Starhoppers first hop, looks like a scene from a Vietnam war film, but it is a world first for that type of rocket engine. It's the 3rd attempt at a full flow staged combustion engine and the first to ever fly under its own power.

Re: What you watching?
The matrix was an excellent film. It literally changed filming forever. They had to design and make that camera set up. Absolutely amazing

Re: What you watching?
I watched Unfinished Business today. I fell asleep as was on a night shift last night but rewatched from where I remembered. Now sitting here remembering that I forgot to lock the tool box at work...luckily it's not my shifter tool box but if it was my shift would literally string me up by the balls!

Re: What you watching?
Did you like it?? I thought it played out like a well done made-for-TV movie, and not much more than that. Jolie is better in front of the camera rather than behind it.Kwacky wrote:Unbroken. A true story about an American Olympic runner who ends up in bomber command in the Pacific during ww2

I did. It's a hard balance to show him growing up, his time in the air force, how long they were lost at sea and the abuse he got at the hands of the Japanese. 5 more minutes of the real life stuff and showing the reunion with the pilot would have really made it imo.

Unbroken is an amazing film. Although I'm bias as I really like the main man, he is a truly excellent actor and he has shone all the way from being on Skins which was a very good down to earth teen series

Re: What you watching?
The news, and there's been another mass shooting, this time in Gilroy, California (wherever that is...?).
Looks like a dozen of more injured, and 3, 4, or 5 dead. Details vary on that, and I think they include the shooter, who was shot within a minute of police responding...police were already present at the event, it seems
Another shooter/accomplice remains at large.
