Fortunately no, just a software/hardware issue, that despite them designing, writing and building a system were unable to understand how it worked.

Afik there was no "Jewish problem" Monty, wasn't the problem retrospectively acknowledged as having been the National Socialist Party.

Socialist yes, Unionist I'm still not convinced. It's great for people that need them, I don't. Hitler was a member of the German workers party that for what ever reason merged with the conservatives and then murdered all the lefties on the night of the long knives. In my head he's a right wing nationalist.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Got loads to do on one case. My boss is off and I'm not in the office tomorrow. The barrister is hassling me for stuff as if I've only got the one case to work on and the client doesn't seem to be interested in the case at all.
Roll on Friday. I'm going to switch my phone off.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Going out on an all day lash up with about 30 guys for my bosses retirement
At which about 10 of us will find out if we have jobs as HR are supposed to be phoning today to advice on who stays and who goes in the redundancies.
Alot of potential for a very messy afternoon / evening
and perhaps not the best of planning
Tbh I'm thinking of leaving my phone off in the hotel and dealing with it all tomorrow

Re: What are you doing today ??
Fingers are crossed for you, Blade. If the option of Volountary Redundancy is there I would take it if the payout is good. Chances are you'd end up working in the same company as a contractor if you're in that sort of work??? Otherwise give yourself a couple of weeks off and look for jobs.
Worked out well for most people I know anyway. My dad left a £40k job with a £15k payout, within 3 weeks he was earning £300/day contracting and one of his jobs (£280/day) was back at his old place of work I believe
