From a practical perspective, he is loosing his invaluable protection from prosecution, and there are plenty waiting in line to inflict some overdue justice. He will therefore be alarmed at the prospect of not only loosing the position, but his liberty & reputation.

Some US news sites now reckon Biden has won.
