Rossgo don't worry the DID Chain you have bought will be fine. They make a lot of OEM stuff. The Chain on my Blade was DID and had plenty of life left in it after 19500 miles.

Mike my know of a few failures and I know Kwacky really rates him so I'm sure he is right in his view. However what he can't know is who installed the chain and its quality of installation, how its been maintained etc...so there could be other factors that have influenced failures.

I'm sure DID are fine. You can name any brand and someone will have a horror story.

I've had Afam in the past and they really do last.

As you say the internet is full of horror story's.

I have had DID in the past but might try Afam next if for nothing more to see how they compare.

This is good to know. I went back home and took a look at my new one looks like good quality. My old one has rust marks on the side and is worn so this one looks a lot better!

Today I have received some new R&G tail light (number plate light) and some indicators. The indicators look good however has a hole where the lenses are so you can swap the colour of them. Unsure whether I like this because it will probably let water in. May give back and go for the aero style ones as they look like they are a closed unit

There was a 25% discount and its not an expensive helmet anyway so i thought it worth a punt. There are some days when i just enjoy pootling around country lanes on the Multi and this will be perfect for those days...assuming it fits ok.

The fit is pretty much perfect.

Just need to try it out on the bike this afternoon.

I really like the aggressive look of the AGV Corsa. If it fits that's my next lid to replace my x-spirit. Hopefully we have similar shaped heads Duke as we both wear a shoei GTAir hopefully the AGV is a similar size / fit.

I've got one of those too, Blade. :D It fits me but i suspect i was half way between a MS and a ML. I went MS so i think its going to take some breaking in. Its not uncomfortable or pinching in anyway but the shape of the shell is very different from anything else i have ever used. I was trying to find a photo of Rossi wearing his to see how high or low he wears it as you can tilt the helmet on your head to wear the chin piece high or low. I also read that the interior padding is adjustable for fit too.

I tried the AGV AX8 out this afternoon and its very very good indeed. I had concerns over whether the peak would lift the helmet but it very stable for the speeds I will ever want to do whilst wearing it. The peak is also excellent at keeping the sun out of my eyes and its very very comfortable. For the price i paid its a bargain.

I had a card through the door of the postman who tried to delver my Dunlop 300psi air compressor so I'll have to go and fetch it from the post office this week.
