Said goodbye to the RSV. It's been a 9 year partnership, but the time had come.

It was a brill weekend. Went there last year as well. This is in the outskirts or Exmoor it's a place called Bardon Manor House it's hundreds of years old and the floor boards and stair cases are no longer straight lol!! Had a fantastic blast in the Saturday around their roads. Even popped into Dartmoor too, wow that was windy lol! Yes it was with the IAM guysBlade wrote:Looks a good weekend Rossgo.

Really wanted to take the SD out for a blast this afternoon, but the weather and general tiredness had other ideas.

Took this out to see what all the fuzz is about ...

Impressive amounts of torque for what size engine it is . It handled ok i think the tyres are not that great as i could not get the front to get hot. It could also be me as this is only my second time on a bike this year. Its screaming for a quick shifter. i struggled with hitting the limiter all the time. The engine note does not seem to change and there's no rush at the top.
I am going to try and get out on it a few more times this week if i can and get those tyres changed but i think it will be going to almeria theres just to many bits left on the rs to finalise and i would rather not rush it.

What year is it? The later models have more up top I think. I know that some owners moaned that the newer ones are too close to an IL4

Indeed. Was waiting until my credit card payment had paid off the balance this month.StMarks wrote:Obviously "meant to be" then Duke63.duke63 wrote:Booked it in to the Ducati trackday at Silverstone on 29 June. Had the last place.

It's an 07 so an earlier one. I think that that it's the fact it has sure a flat power curve it's not a negative it's just not what I'm used to. The dash is not that great looks ok but not the easiest to read at a glance

Same colour as mine Rocket, but looks very much cleaner.
They didn't make the Graphite for long Kwacky, so that will be 06-07 ish. The revised engines are easy enough to differentiate, as they dropped the bronze casings in favour of plain black.
On paper the later engines are quantifiably improved, however on track less apparent IMHO.
You are a very lucky lad to have such nice bikes Mr Rocket.

I've still got the linings in my textiles. I can't believe it's May and I'm wrapped up like it's winter.
