Re: Possible UK Trackdays
I love Mallory, it's probably my favourite track I've ridden. As you say, because it's a short and technical track you can turn up on anything and have fun. You can't just hide behind big BHP numbers to be with.Perkles wrote:Mallory is a great track to turn up and have fun at on any bike

Jack's photos are awesome anywhere. I've got a few from Mallory where he's managed to make me look like I know how to ride a bike.

It's 103db, surely with baffles in you can't be that far off.....duke63 wrote:I'd like to bring the Ducati but I dont think it will pass the noise test

Re: Possible UK Trackdays
I don't have any baffles for the exhausts.
They are proper straight through race style pipes.

Re: Possible UK Trackdays
If you wanted to go Duke you could probably buy baffles to fit. Just measure the bore, buy baffles to suit and then drill one small 6mm hole on the bottom of your exhaust outlet pipe for a 5mm bolt to secure the baffle.
I got one for my zx6r years ago and worked a treat. I even leant it a guy at Oulton to get his Daytona through noise testing too

Re: Possible UK Trackdays
At the moment trackdays are not high in order of priority.
I think saying to the wife I was doing a Mallory trackday might send her over the edge.
