Yep. I'll be getting a good gate and lock. At present they can walk into the front and check out the bike. Hopefully that'll dissuade them.

Unfortunate truth is you can only go so far.

Was chatting with a guy today and his friend had his M2 nicked. Police reckon he was targeted and advised him it was most likely food delivery couriers supplying info on nice cars to car thieves who then specifically targeted him.

They broke in the house very stealthy lifted the car and house keys and locked the owners in the house with no keys to get out.

They then dumped the car a few mile awat which is common practice in case fitted with a tracker. If the car is still there a few days later they know it doesn't have a tracker fitted so take it again.

I've heard good things about these NEST cameras. Linked to your phone too and you can talk into the phone and any scum outside can hear you.

I had a builder come round this morning. He's going to do me a quote. He knows what I'm after.

On the same night my cover was lift a mate's car around the corner was broken into. The police caught the guy a few hours later. They can't tie my bike in with him and even if they could he's done nothing they can charge him with (o would want to) but at least it's enough to know he's being dealt with.

£780 for a gate and installation (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)

I told him to fook off.

Got another builder coming round next week.

In the meantime I've ordered a ground anchor, 19mm 2.5m chain and a squire lock from these people http://pjbsecurity.co.uk/1st-page/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Expensive but I prefer not to have my stuff nicked.

This one http://pjbsecurity.co.uk/new-taurus-bull-ring-anchor" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've already got one ground anchor which is for the rear wheel of a bike. The plan is to get this ground anchor put in place in the centre front so it can be used for two bikes on their front wheels when I get round to buying a second. There will be a third anchor for the rear of the second bike. So in total 3 anchors in a triangle formation.
