So a couple of tech questions...

1. What front and rear sprocket sizes should I go for to improve mid range torque?

2. What quickshifter do you recommend for the ZX10-R then?

Well if you guys weren't 12 hrs behind it would be easier! Plus most people spend more than 2 hours choosing a bike, though I realise in your case if you did this it would reduce your ownership timeframe dramatically!!

I went one down on the front and one up on the rear.

Quickshifter i have just fitted a healtech. Fitting was easy and there's plenty of adjustment with the unit. Not used it much but so far giving nice changes but it needs some more fine tuning.

Definitely 1 down on the front 1 up on the back. Very common mod on this bike and I recommended to Rocket and Perkles, both of whom were happy with the result.

I have the translogic is4 intellishift and yet to use it in anger as only just installed. Easy to fit and same one Bournemouth Kawasaki use at the TT with James Hillier so proven product.

Heard good things from Rocket on the healtech qs though and really good deal available at biker discount store. 10% discount for 1000rr members too if your still on there so very good choice.

HAHAAH speedo zx10r hahahaha. best thing to do is just copy blades number plate like i have .....

A review on the healtech QS it has been updated since to work with apple phones and is being updated regular which is a nice feature

Works off the traction control rings fitted to the wheels

Well I sold the MT-09 yesterday back to the guys I bought it from. Got a good price and split the difference on the new rear tyre it needed so just waiting on a call to get my ZX-10R sent down to me ASAP.

Can't wait!!!

Oh by the way re the sprockets, in going to wait and see how I get on with it in std trim frost before doing the mod suggested.

Makes total sense to test it first rather than adjust it blind.. also be prepared to reset all suspension settings to the book!
