Dehydrated dinner kept hot in the oven. Gotta love crazy long hours!

Chicken and pasta. Dull but filling.

Roast duck

Ice cream for lunch.
It's not like I need an excuse to eat it, but it's really hot today & that's as good an excuse as any, I suppose.

Chicken tagine & cous cous, plus mint chic hip ice cream and fruit.

Cous cous isn't a proper food

Bratwurst sandwiches.
I'm absolutely stuffed.
Time for a nap...there's nowt else to do when it's this warm.

Steak, onion ring and mushroom butty which was gorgeous, but huge and I'm now stuffed

Risotto and ice cream. But not in the same plate thankfully.

One of those things I loved as a kid, but tasting them as an adult leaves cold, suet meat puddings are another one exactly the same.

Light brunch, proper tea too no tea bags.

Just pan fried some lovely line caught, sardines on granary toast which was fresh from the walk to the bakers this morning.

All washed down with some Ethiopian coffee. Simple food, simply cooked, simply gorgeous
