Vehicle Tax reminder. I'm not sure I'll be able to afford £30 in one hit. Extortionate rates these days!

They must have sent out hundreds of those cans. I saw loads of people posting about them on twitter.

A used top box rack, with a nice bend in one of the arms. It will be fine after a bit of persuasion in the bench vice.

Thousands I reckon.Kwacky wrote:They must have sent out hundreds of those cans. I saw loads of people posting about them on twitter.
The website had a queueing system before you could get to the ordering page. Think I had to wait about 15 mins. Was like lockdown panic buying all over again.

We've had a letter from the local Jehovah's apologising for not being able to knock on the door to offer support to the neighborhood.
Bless 'em. They're persistent.

A set of discs and pads for the car, and an electronic rat trap since they're laughing at the snap trap... They're getting a taste for rolos too.

Some plants, seeds and soil.
I've got a spare spider tank so I'm going to have a go at setting it up as a tropical swamp with a mix of mosses, climbers and carnivorous plants.

Haha.. nope. I'm just going to put the baby in a large bin bag. I might leave it untied if I get a good night sleep

Re: Mr Postman
Seeing as I appear to have completed the Rightmove website about 3 times now, there's a few properties we've seen that have potential. So it's a case of going for a drive around to scope the different areas, view the ones we really like and then put an offer in, I guess.Kwacky wrote:What's the next steps mate?
We've not done this before so it's all a bit new, although I am regretting not having done it earlier, seeing as house prices only appear to be going one way!
Not to mention the location will be a factor in whether I keep the bike or need to get a car to commute, there's lots of decisions to be made about bedroom sizes, gardens, garages, it all seems very grown up!
Given that I'll be out the RAF in less than 2 years though, I'd better get a wriggle on!

Re: Mr Postman
Since I’ve been home in the last week the following has turned up
Sandalwood handle naked portafilter
Portafilter magnetic dosing funnel
Self leveling and calibrated tamp
Dosing scales
Distributor
Magnetic timer.
I’ve now spend more on coffee making accessories than I did on my coffee machine.
The coffees are reflecting the investment and hours of coffee science YouTube I watched in quarantine
I only drink straight espresso shots now and can taste the difference in the consistent extraction
My latte art (kids hot chocolates and Jess’ coffee) is still lacking...
