There was a really good documentary last night looking into the Mayan Empire. They've got some new tech which shows the layout of the land.

The size of the cities, the highways they built, the infrastructure in place to support the agriculture was all laid out. Amazing stuff to watch.

I've just watched Discovery

I knew that the two existed in the same time line but I wasn't sure that they would tie them in.

What a grreat series this has been. Well done to the writers.

It was old fashioned Star Trek from start to finish. Fight the bad guys, find a way to destroy the bad guys, feel guilty about what you're going to do, stick to your Federation rules. Yay we're the good guys!
