Did you have any meat left on your pads at all Kwacky or where they fully used?

Wheeled it out the garage and started it up for the first time in over two months. Then rode it back in the garage

Wheeled it on the garage, started it and rode it around the Oxfordshire and Glous countryside like a mad man, had a massive breakfast at a new location (logged for a future TS ride out) rode home, cleaned bike, makes a change that I did it after the ride, but she was a mess from today and last weeks outing.
Edit > sorry rode with skill and plenty of care and attention.

Bedded in the new pads as I filtered through about 4 miles of standstill traffic on the M6.
The reason for the tailback? People rubber necking a car being recovered from the hard shoulder. I kid you not.

last night I decided to start both bikes and let them get up to operating temperature, the multi started first time ( as usual ) so then onto the 999, after about 3 turnovers she fired up and I haven't started it for about 3 weeks, spot on.

You aren't saying that all this hype about Ducati's is wrong? That they are more than just good looking pieces of metal and plastic?!

Pulled up next to a copper on his bike and complained about the weather. He looked less than impressed with me

Did you race him away from the lights.?Kwacky wrote:Pulled up next to a copper on his bike and complained about the weather. He looked less than impressed with me
As a very young Saint I did that once; Filtered to the front of a line of traffic only to find myself alongside a Traffic Cop on a bike. Knowing that I was fully legal (even number plate size.! ) I dropped my clutch & shot away, gave it beans right up to 30 & then just cruised at that (being the speed limit).
Unsurprisingly he caught up with me & pulled me over.
He asked me "what on earth I thought I was doing"
I explained that I had broken no laws, as there was no law about how fast you accelerate, just on the maximum speed & that I had adhered to that limit.
He was "exceptionally unimpressed"
He was even less impressed when I pointed out that, in order to catch up & pull me over, he must have exceeded that limit.?
I don't recall the specifics, but I did get a considerable dressing down, but didn't get prosecuted.
LOL, I hope it wasn't TC (although I suspect he dealt with many equally idiotic young pratts)

He waved me forward, probably to see if I knew it was 20mph on the other side of the lights.

It is a fine ass, so I wouldn't blame him if he did check it out.
