The fit was absolutely spot on, the hardest bit was putting the different bits of the fairing together . The screen fixing holes didn't line up so had to do some re drilling.D6Nutz wrote:That looks the nuts mate, how was the fit??
I couldn't fit the front mudguard as I have to remove the wheel to fit it and I don't have the correct socket for it.

Popped over to see Gary at GS and got the rear tyre changed.
Nearly had the wing mirror knocked off the Volvo by some loon on an s1000r wearing a tank slap hoodie belting down the m4
Put the rear wheel back in the bike and prepped it for Thursday

washed the SX and cleaned and lubed the chain. That chain will have to be replaced after spring but it's in good nick for OEM and 12,000 miles.
Went to put the Eazi-Grip tank pads on but decided I didn't like them. I've put the smaller ones on the black plastic below the tank but not the main ones.

Had a 110 mile in total trip today. Had my Cross Check which I passed with flying colours I got a grade of 1/2. I got caught out in every type of weather today, bone dry, sunny (dazzled me while riding into the sun for a fair few miles which was horrible) greasy damp areas and at one point it belted it down this morning heading up to Hungerford, got drenched!!

Good stuff Rossgo, if your riding like that then you'll nail the test.
Do think you could do with a little more practice on Thursday though
