Hi all, firstly a big thank you to all of you!!

This has been the hardest time in my life, me and my brother were inseparable, we did so much together in our lives and I will miss him always.

The cause of death has now been established and finally he has been released for us to say our good byes next week, as a result of the accident a blood clot formed in his leg and moved into his lung, reducing oxygen levels severely, because of the brain injury, although the swelling had subsided, they were unable to treat in the normal way for fear of causing a bleed in the brain, the wonderful staff at coventry university hospital did everything they possibly could for Karl, a wire was inserted to break up the clot which was successful, unfortunately once they took Karl off the bypass machine his heart just wouldn't restart, we are of the opinion that he had decided enough was enough.

I cant thank the staff at the hospital enough, they do an amazing job every day, also the Northamptonshire & Warwickshire air ambulance team deserve our thanks, if you ever feel like donating to charity, they are a real worthy cause.

We have no idea what will be happening to the driver of the car, we believe that is now in the hands of the law, I feel no malice towards her, she has to live with this, which I can only imagine how that would feel, punishment enough maybe? Myself and Karls wife are agreed on this, we are more angry at the lack of importance placed on driving standards, yes we are all capable of mistakes, but is everyone aware of the impact they can have? The times I see people do the most stupid things on the road!! (Rant over)

As biking was something myself and Karl did together, I have decided to end my biking career, i just wouldn't enjoy it anymore and I'm sure my family and friends would also have their opinion, I had decided this at the time of the accident, hoping to encourage Karl to do the same once he had recovered.

I will continue to check in on here as the members are second to none and a great community, hopefully I'll be able to help anyone with a dodgy daytona 600 with advise!

Once again, thank you, all of you.

Kind regards.
Dazzy.

Lost for words Dizzy TBH but I m sure I speak for everyone when I say is there anything we can do to assist just say the word.

Thoughts are with you, your family and friends, I really cant imagine what your going through and genuinely so sorry this ever happened, life can be so cruel.

As difficult as it is I m so glad to see your not bitter about it as that would eat you up. Stay strong mate, all the best.

It's nice to see you're so measured at what must be a very difficult time for you.

You know that the Tankslap door is always open, regardless of biker ownership.

Will miss you dizzy. I hope you can pop in here for time to time to say hi.

I can't imagine what you have been through and are going through and with respect I never want to either.

He sounds like a good guy, taken too soon. You may not bear any malice to the driver and I admire you for that, but I hope they throw the book at her.

Nothing more I can say really.
