If an energy company goes bankrupt that's exactly the time to renationalise it (for free), and they know that.

Yeah.... Norway is also one of the biggest energy producers in the world, and has a population smaller than that of London, so it's kinda understandable why their situation might be somewhat different, or even unique, when compared to other countries.

It's unique in that it puts it's own people ahead of shareholders

If people were strong enough and stuck together we could make that happen. I wonder what percentage we would need to cut down on on average to make them go bust?

Water companies are just as bad. Saddled themselves with debt but no t for investment but to pay dividends and big salaries.

It's then going to give £1bn to Octopus to get Octopus to buy Bulb.
^They've already gone bust and we've bailed them out!

I would put good money on the fact that before the end of next year that most Countries will have to renationalise their energy companies. ;)

I see that the gas prices are falling. Goldman Sachs predict a further 30% drop in the first quarter of 2023.

Hopefully that'll be passed on to us when they review the energy prices again.

My dedicated server that runs this site is the latest to be hit by price rises. It's gone from £44 a month at the beginning of the year to £120 next month.

Expect the prices of online stores and services to start rising.
