Never heard of it, but I like the name.
It's a village/small town a few miles east of Chesterfield in Derbyshire :)

It's now snowing here at Bikesure towers & is settling - I spoke too soon!

Had a massive hail / snow storm mid-afternoon today which settled, and then melted as quickly as it landed..

This evening on the way to the gym I had the same fun as blade. There was ice everywhere, front end sliding, back end spinning up mid corner.. Best bit is the traction control is useless on the merc, might as well turn it off.

You should switch TC off in the snow and also ABS if you could but i don't think cars allow you to switch ABS off.

It was a little scary riding home last night in the snow, had a few strange looks from car drivers while sitting at the lights trying to clear the snow off my visor lol

The roads were icy this morning but it looks like that's our share of the snow in the West Midlands.

Cold weather is forecast to last few a few weeks according to our local amateur forecaster. I really detest winter.

Main roads into Brum were ok this morning but getting out of my road was a challenge.

Would be ski Sunday I imagine on that bank coming out of yours mate. You want to position some slalom flags and a jump at the bottom to beat the rush hour chaos, haha

We've had a dusting over night here. Not enough for a snowman though.

Very similar here, woke up to it snowing this morning at 8, the roads are 90% clear again now though! Mini Gee and his mate (here on a sleepover) were hoping to get out and throw snowballs, no such luck as yet, more forecast tonight though. Time to light the fire I think.

Local news is saying cat and fiddle, snake pass and woodhead will be closed all weekend.

They are still passable, but the police keep putting road closed signs up so you won't be insured.

Lazy bar stars Police, road shown as closed on the electronic signs but totally passable. Even had cyclists on it.
