sound does weird things it was 104 but from the seat and a dba reader the KTM is far louder,I actually prefer it with the standard can on so might flog this one if i can be arsedKwacky wrote:Blimey. Your RC8 sounds quieter than your Monster. Wasn't that 104?
One of the reasons I kept mine standard, loud enough.Perkles wrote:sound does weird things it was 104 but from the seat and a dba reader the KTM is far louder,I actually prefer it with the standard can on so might flog this one if i can be arsedKwacky wrote:Blimey. Humm... The RSV was about the same noise level, except that was about 4 foot from the exhaustsPerkles wrote:114 dba @ 5000 revs @ 500mm ,it needs to be a noisy day
It doesn't make my head hurt, far from it. I love the noise, but I realise that it's not just me on the road. The ride down to cheddar made up my mind as people commented that they could not only hear, but feel the bike when they where following it... Just so long as I can keep the overrun burble then I'm happy.Perkles wrote:Mine also had a baffle fitted but still made my head hurt ,sod that I'm to old for it
