sound does weird things it was 104 but from the seat and a dba reader the KTM is far louder,I actually prefer it with the standard can on so might flog this one if i can be arsed

you were hanging off more at Mallory than you were at Doni wether that was just familiarity with the track at Mallory or you were having a bad day at Doni I dont know , you were also taking quite a lazy line into redgate which is why you ran wide I reckon , as for practicing your body position I always feel like a right Twat when I do it on the roads and its also hard work and Im a lazy bastard

to be fair to Kwacky the inters group was quite hetic and hard to relax in.It was red flagged twice , they gave them a rollicking saying they would stop the sessions and re brief again.As soon as I dropped to novices i got an open track went twice as fast and started getting knee down

I felt more relaxed and had a better day at Mallory. Everything seemed to flow better on that day. I start to beat myself up when it's not going well and that makes matters worse. I need to learn to relax and start again.

One of the reasons I kept mine standard, loud enough.

Humm... The RSV was about the same noise level, except that was about 4 foot from the exhausts I'm switching back to standard cans for a noisy day

baffles are at the top of the shopping list now.

Mine also had a baffle fitted but still made my head hurt ,sod that I'm to old for it

It doesn't make my head hurt, far from it. I love the noise, but I realise that it's not just me on the road. The ride down to cheddar made up my mind as people commented that they could not only hear, but feel the bike when they where following it... Just so long as I can keep the overrun burble then I'm happy.
