I'm guessing so, but there was no safe way to go and check. I was at the spot for a further 5 mins and no one else had a problem. But it was still pouring down so i wonder if we hit a recent spill and the down pour washed it away.

Bloody bought a new sofa. Bloody women. Been banging on about one for years, last year bought a brand new sofa every week been going on about a corner one, found one yesterday and picked it up today. Yes it's nice, yes its comfy, yes you could fall asleep on it bit feck me it took 30 mins just getting it through the bloody doors!

All ok. Car is still drivable and going in for repairs on the 26th.

Organising a little trip up to Brummie land, our company is going to be installing some jewellery kiosks in the Bullring & Grand central centres, got to go up on Friday to do a quick survey etc, and look at loading & unloading details etc etc.

Spending money I dont have!!!! Arghh.... I noticed my tyres on the car were a little low on tread, on very close inspection, I noticed that I could see the metal banding !!!! holy crap, I have never let a tyre get to the level of shitness..... how embarrassing..... Not to mention dangerous to me and any other road user around me I really could not see it, the wear was on the inside and without getting right under the car it was hard to see from just standing and looking.... shocking.

Anyway got two replacement tyres fitted ASAP....

Looking at some police photos from a serious accident.

They normally only send us copies of the photos with the bodies removed

When the wife worked in the court system, she always recollects the photos she had to see showing a guy with an axe buried deep in his skull......put there by his son IIRC.

a footwell of congealing blood was one of my favourites from a few years back.
