Got 25% off Goodridge hoses so ordered front lines for the SX.

not to bad the engine braking feels a lot better in the lower setting. I'm still sliding on the seat to much so think im going to get the race seat pad which has a better material as i have heard the comfort seat can be as slippy. I have also been looking at the grippy tank pads but I think i will try the seat pad out first. Made sure the suspension was set to stock today as it look liked it had been adjusted.duke63 wrote:How are you getting on with the bike, Rocket?

They are good but it's a single line rubber hose set up. The twin line makes it easier to bleed plus I'll have stainless steel banjo bolts which will wear better.

After many years faithful service it's time to retire my blue bumbag. I've had it for well over 15 years.
Time to replace it with a new one :- http://www.over-board.co.uk/pro-light-w ... itres.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When I had the 1199 I had exactly the same problem, I took it to a local motor upholsterers who re did it in a grippy material, didn't look too much different but made a hell of a difference was £90 in total I think....just as an option.rocket wrote:not to bad the engine braking feels a lot better in the lower setting. As the weather forecast is looking bleak ffor the rest of the week, I went out and followed my nose today, ended up doing fish hill, not been there for a long time, I have to say the roads around that neck of the woods all the way down to Farringdon were awesome, low traffic and what there was got dispensed with pretty quickly lol.
Stopped for a quick brew at the Tower at the top of Fish Hill,,, needed after the trip up it ha ha ha....

You're fine.
There was a bloke at the bottom of fish hill taking photos. No idea why.

Nice photo from above.
For those who don't know it, right to left is uphill and it's a decent gradient. Going uphill you have two lanes, downhill one lane. The bends are pretty much blind and a couple of them have increasing radius.
All good fun.
