Re: What ails you today?
I appear to have tweaked my quadriceps tendon. It is either that or the end of the band. It's not too sore but I've had pain for a few days. I've exercised on it today but wore a proper brace. I don't think I've torn anything (I hope)

Re: What ails you today?
I'm feeling like I've started turning a corner with my shoulder. The pain seems like it's stating to go a bit.
I'm hoping it's this and not the cumulative levels of pain killers in my system is just masking the pain.
Amitriptyline is good stuff though, can't remember the last time I slept so well.

I am on that long term, it knocks me out and I take about 2 hours to wake up and get going in the morningD6Nutz wrote:I'm feeling like I've started turning a corner with my shoulder. The pain seems like it's stating to go a bit.

I know what you mean about getting up and going. I'm only on 10mg, i'm guessing your dose is higher.Perkles wrote:I am on that long term, it knocks me out and I take about 2 hours to wake up and get going in the morningD6Nutz wrote:I'm feeling like I've started turning a corner with my shoulder. Your thoughts on the weight are interesting. Normally I do drink more than the recommended daily units, so with two sets of pain killers saying to avoid alcohol I've been pretty good, apart from the occasional g&t. I expected to drop son weight off, but that hasn't really happened..

Re: What ails you today?
Not quite sure what ails me today but hoping to find out soon.
Woke to find a weird bruising rash all up my arm. It's slowly spreading so off to see the doc. Early suspicions are a spider bite but can't see and puncture marks. The line following a vien up my arm is a bit concerning as it indicates what ever is going on is in my blood.

Re: What ails you today?
Well the doctor had no clue, called in another doctor who also had no clue. They wanted to give me antibiotics 'just in case' but I said no. Then they wanted me to take anti-inflammatories which I also said no to due to other meds I'm on. Tried to get bloods taken but all the loca pathologies have closed.
So back home and waiting to see if it gets worse.

Have you spilt a hot drink on your arm.?
Seriously though, hope by now you're on top of it. -Could your hand skin have been exposed to any pathogens during your working day.??

No idea. Thought the doc might have had some clue, but after telling her I'd been on nightshift for 3 weeks she asked if it could be delayed sunburn. About then I realised she was as clueless as I was.StMarks wrote:Have you spilt a hot drink on your arm.?

Re: What ails you today?
It could be a mite bite. You're not likely to see a puncture wound from something that small.

Re: What ails you today?
Got a likely bite mark on the end of my finger. Thought it was just a splinter spot from firewood, but in last two days it's gone a bit feral.
It's slowly disappating so I'm not bothered much now. Felt a bit crook last night and was in bed by 8, even put me off my gin
. But feel better today

If you have some and you haven't already scratched skin off, put a bit of tiger balm on each one. Sounds wrong I know but works a treat.D6Nutz wrote:Motherfeckingsonofbiatchingbarstard mosquito bites!!!
