Thinking about seeing this with my 6 year old. He didn't like the series but was very enthusiastic watching the movie trailer.Itchy wrote:Went to the cinema. The girls went to watch Beauty & the Beast, me and the boy went to watch the new Power Rangers movie.
I don't think it's going to win any Oscars, it was basically a feature-length episode of the what the TV series used to be like, but with an origin story and modern day CGI. It was a good bit of escapism and bonding time with the boy though, so an afternoon well spent.
A couple of swears in it, which my 7 year old took great delight in pointing out!
What you watching?

Star Trek.
It has absolutely no insight whatsoever....save for the fact that you just know the poor bastard in the red shirt will eat it the moment they beam down anywhere.
It's the original 1760's series, I think.

633 Squadron.
The special effects look like they were filmed by a retard in a straitjacket....other than that it's crap.

Dude...seriously???
George & Zippy could churn out infinitely better war films all day long without ever breaking a sweat.
I think I spotted the poor bugger from The Great Escape in it....the one who got shot climbing the fence...??
Yep...it was him, sez Wiki.

You've just started that?? It's a good series, you should enjoy it. If you think it's starting to get slow, just wait, because around a corner will be a major plot change.D41 wrote:"Breaking Bad".

Jess has it on DVD and has never watched it so I plan to re-watch it all soon myself.

I like documentaries more than anything. Or maybe movies that have a historic setting.
Like Star Wars, for instance.

The news. Some poor rider went over the side of an overpass down into the lanes below up by LAX.

Iron Fist. I'm still not convinced it's worth watching. I'll try 2 more episodes.
