Gave the Multi a deep clean and polish today. 1900 miles of flies and dirt cleaned off.
The PR4 tyres are now firmly squared off and have i reckon about 1000 miles left but they have nearly done 6000 miles to date so I have certainly had my moneys' worth from them. The Angel GT's and original Pirelli Scorpions would get nowhere near that mileage.

Checked the sprockets on the blade as it seemed slightly underpowered at Silverstone, it was -2 on the front &. +3 on the rear.
Ordered new sprockets.

Ordered new sprockets.

Might have run out of puff on the straights, but I bet it was fun coming or of the slower corners..

Yeah a friend of mine was on his blade as well and as we came out of the corners onto the straights he was leaving me behind.D6Nutz wrote:Might have run out of puff on the straights, but I bet it was fun coming or of the slower corners..

Rode home with a 3 inch screw lying in the centre of the rear tyre.

Well I guess it's lucky you decided to order a new rear in the end!Kwacky wrote:Rode home with a 3 inch screw lying in the centre of the rear tyre.

Kind of. I told Mike there was no rush and he goes away on Wednesday.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Yesterday my parcel arrived. Finally. So managed to change the shock over and take her for a very little (around the block, little) test ride. Must admit first impressions are good, seems to be a tad taller that my last spring but feels better. Just need to take her out for a proper ride now - doing that at weekend [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

Went to get the tyres replaced.
Front was fine.
The rear bolts are all locked solid. So I've got mixed tyres at present. I went to see Kawasaki Birmingham and they said they've got the tools for the job If they round off anything it's a warranty job so I'll take the loose rear to them so they can put it on when they service it.

M5. Good price and they last. I though the m7rr would be wasted on the SX.

So you still have the screw in the rear? Who tightened the bolts up last?
