175 miles on the last tank. Not bad. I've put the baffles in and the average mpg has gone up.

I must admit being pulled the other week has made me back off on the main roads. If he had clocked my top speed I would have lost my licence and my job.

The rear tyre has done 6,500 miles, which is double what any of the other tyres have managed to achieve. Those Z8s are pretty impressive. Only downside to them I've found is that they don't heat up as quick as some other tyres when it's freezing cold. That said they don't slip or slide any more than anything else I've used.

The bike is about to hit 17,000 miles so I'm going to do an oil change next weekend and give it a good clean and covering in ACF50.

I'm interested to see what sort of mileage D6 gets from his Roadtec.

Double the mileage is very impressive, especially for the miles do each year.

Wondering if I should keep it and run it into the ground or sell it in autumn.

That then begs the question if I get another SX, go for the zzr1400 or buy a little Versys 650 and splash out on a trick weekend toy.

Would you be able to commute on the ZZR like your SX? (Given your filtering/barging style)

Would a Versys give you any satisfaction or is it just a work horse? (Not saying that Versys' can't be fun)

Do you need another toy for the weekends if you already have the ZX6R? (Need and want are totally different eggs!)

I had the Versys650 for a few days and I started to like it. It's light, cheap and easy to use for commuting. It's probably a better commuter than the SX in terms of size and economy. It'll be much cheaper to insure and run.

I need to test ride a ZZR to see what it's like on the road. It is a bigger bike but it's a mile muncher.

No idea what I'm doing with the zx6r yet. I can't be bothered to chase for an update. I think I've fallen out of love with it. I might change my mind again when I get it back. It depends how much works it needs, how much it's going to cost and how long it'll take to do it.

If the SX and the ZX6R go and I swap the SX for a 650 Versys then I would need something to make me smile, cuz the 650 won't do that.

No idea what I would get. I loved the z1000. I really want to try the BMW S1000r.
