99% of the time it's cars that jump the lights around here.

Thing is, if the Gendarme do pull him on his way back from searching out a local dealer, he may well deserve the ensuing clusterfuck but the fall out may have long term ramifications for Cookie.
I'm fairly sure he doesn't want his home with drugs marker against it, besides the Gendarme don't mess around & are armed.

Bugger, he's returned
Hopefully he will be knackered anyway. I dread to think what time he's going to sleep in to tomorrow but he's at least out the way.
One more day ticked off and we have Mrs C's cousin and wife here for a few days from tonight to dilute the feckwittery a little...

I was thinking that with all the drugs they could have a "rave"??°°°
°°°(I don't actually know what a "rave" is. I think they're a warehouse full of young smackheads gyrating wildly to 'The Prodigy', but I could be wrong).

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Another vent, but mainly to keep perspective.
We made him get up at 9am this morning as we all went to the local town to the market and a coffee etc. He wasnt comfy with that
He got up after everyone had finished breakfast and then managed to burn a piece of toast big time (black) while staring at the toaster this morning (god knows how) he's so odd. Then managed to ruin a whole tub of margarine by covering it in black bits from the burnt toast - tons of them, so thats had to go. Rather than scraping the toast - no just distribute black everywhere.
We also reckon he is a secret eater - there have been packets of this and that that have disappeared. We don't mind people doing most things while they are with us, but usually asking is a good idea.
A psychiatrist would have a field day with him - he's all over the shop and a classic advert how not to be.
He's now gone back to his room and i assume gone back to sleep - you cant start the day without 16hrs sleep now can you?

He did, but he gave it up as he needed a holiday apparentlyduke63 wrote:Does he have a job back in the UK?

He drifts and has gotten a lot worse it seems. I think he must be on some mental health medication - he is really oblivious to many things now.

I would be booting him out this weekend otherwise he might take up permanent residence.
Sounds like he had his own plan for summer.

/now feels guilty for having missed breakfast a couple of times at Cookies
Fair enough if he's taking a break from a stressful job but what's the point in going away of you're not going to at least catch up and take a look around your new settings?

Its time to drive him to the nearest train station, thank him for his company and wave him off now, before you start having to evict a squatter

I dont see the point of his visit i really dont.
He's still MIA upstairs, i've asked him if he's ok and he is, but considering it's glorious today, he's not outside or anywhere. He could have stayed at home.
I chatted to him in the car on the way down here and he seemed ok, but vague about any plans. No issues with anything he said just looking forward to seeing France.
