EDITED... posted some stuff I found but Blade has the good gen..

Sent Perks a PM. The harness plugs into the ohlins ecu located under the tank which controls the electronic steering damper. Dead simple to fit 4 wires go into the ecu and the other end of the harness with two convectors plugs into the opposite half two connectors in the fly leads coming out of the shock.

Perks you need a little 4 page booklet that has instructions. I would copy you mine but not at home at the moment. Can you email the seller to scan you a copy as a suggestion ?

Actually the guy has just scanned me the wire no,s,I just didn't realise you had to hard wire something into the ecu.Thought it would be plug and play
Thanks guys I will get it on the abba stand kwacky lent me tomorrow and have a look at the ecu connector and report back here with my findings
I take it I don't have to solder anything blade the wires just push in ?

So been doing some research the 013 + bikes with electronic steering damper have an ohlins ecu already fitted which is under the tank.You need to wire the 8 leads into this ecu,hopefully it's quite clear what the ecu looks like when the tanks off.The only thing that worries me if you wire it up how do you know it's working properly or not without any software to show you

Found an installation PDF , ,good job as the wiring diagram the seller sent me is wrong on two of the wires,looks like he's been riding an active shock that wasn't functioning

Probably why he was keen to sell it, his loss your gain!!

so took the side piece off the tank,I think this is the ecu and connector it seems to match the description and has 8 gromments free for additional wiring
Blade can you confirm please ?

Good luck with the install perkles. Do these shocks not work on the -11 bike then ???? Or do you need an extra unit

Perks seems a bloody nightmare to me! Sure your fit it in no time and start enjoying the benefits of it

Thanks I've got my head round it now,for the early gen 4 the shock comes with different wiring and an ecu module

all wired as instructions

Time to take it for a test run.

Need to fit the shock 1st,undecided wether to get it serviced while its off though as it had unkown history

Fancy a drive down to revs racing one Saturday,they get good reviews and are local

I wouldn't touch them with your Ohlins. Send it to someone with the skills needed for a shock like that. Go to approved Ohlins workshop.
