This winter its had new variable angle bars ( which are superb in making it a little less extreme to ride), new grips and an Oberon clutch slave.
I've also got a set of DP rearsets to fit next.

Took the Aztec spacers off the multi, re fitted the new screen, had to adjust the position of the sat nav as the MRA screen is quite flat compared to the OEM screen. Going to take it to work tomorrow to try it out. Also gave it a clean, looks bloody lovely

I often go for an evening ride as lighter traffic and fits in better with family commimtments as well.

Loved the ride in this morning. A little chilly but there's an understated beauty about the British countryside on a fine and sunny spring morning.

I hope so Kwacky plan is to keep it for a good few years yet. I must say I'm starting to really get used to this one. Very comfy too no sores or aches anywhere!

Which goes to show there's more value in reliable service than the price. Confidence is a big thing.Kwacky wrote:Not the cheapest but he is very trustworthy.
I've used him for years and he's never let me down.

Ordered a sidestand foot for the sx. Having dropped one Kwak I don't want to make the same mistake. The SX is much heavier so I reckon I would struggle to pick it up.
I've gone for a cheap one from China. I'm not paying R&G £35 for a pit of metal.

This morning's blissful ride was countered by the shitfest of the ride home. Fook me it was dickhead day on the way home. Loads of people cutting lanes without indicating. Glad I made it home.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Sounds like my last few ride outs.
I really think driving standards are very low with a lot of people.
Every ride out recently I have encountered at least a couple of the following:
People doing a u-turn on the opposite side of a crest in the road so invisible to oncoming traffic, people on the wrong side of the road coming round a bend, people parked immediately round the corner of a b!ind bend, people doing less than 30 mph for no apparent reason in a national speed limit.
I will stop there but the list could easily go on.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Asked Mike to pick up the zx6r when he's next passing. I was going to do the alternator myself but I haven't got the time and the bike is just sitting there. I've told him there's no rush. He can put a new front tyre on as well so it's ready for the summer.
In typical fashion for my luck he told me that he went within 1/2 a mile of my house last week
Also ordered a filler cap cover for the sx to stop it getting marked.
