today i have mostly been changing the gear selector shaft as i jammed it into the wrong gear the other week on a track day at darley moor and have bent something, if this doesnt cure it then its a gearbox out job to look at the selector fork.

Getting the wheels off the track bike today, hoping to get the new rubber fired this week.
All was going so well until I realised I needed a 20/22mm socket for the front and I haven't got one..

I picked up a set of supercorsa scrubs at the end a the season. They've done a race apparently, but hardly look like they've been used.Blade wrote:What rubber is going on Nutz ?

Bled the front brakes.
When I get chance I will also give the callipers a good strip down and clean.

Not the cheapest but he is very trustworthy.
I've used him for years and he's never let me down.

People are happy to pay for good service and clearly this is what Mike delivers. Just wish he was nearer to me.

I think for the 748 he is excellent value.Kwacky wrote:Not the cheapest but he is very trustworthy.

Its not the cheapest but equally not the most expensive either and the last time when i removed bolts for a winter clean up some 9 months after he had serviced it, many of the bolts had copaslip on the threads.
He's just dropped it back and said that the plugs didn't need changing so he left those and the fuelling was still perfect from last time. Not sure many places would leave plugs in if they didn't need changing.
Might give it a bit of a shakedown now and will try and bring it to at least part of one of the Wales days out.

Definitely good to see you Duke and very much like to see the 748, you've done a lot of mods since I last saw it.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
It is fecking awesome.
Just been out for an hour to test it out. Runs like a dream
Spring/summer evening ride outs are my fave time, little traffic and no scamera vans. We ought to arrange an evening run to the A483 maybe.
Yes i will be there on 17th all being well. Has been too long since i saw some of you.
