Re: What are you doing today ??
Just realised my post about the course was posted in the wrong section ! Anyway in the afternoon yesterday I went to Go Ape for my GF sister birthday (13 years old end of month). I had to supervise 2 children. It was great however its made me think. When I was a teenager up to around 19 I was involved in a lot of activities Including climbing and high ropes etc on a weekly basis and I can't remember being all that afraid or it off. Yesterday I was actually shaking as we was going up in the trees and doing the activities. I couldnt show it to the children because that could of rubbed off. But blinking he'll I won't be doing that again in a hurry!!
Although one of the girls who I had to supervise was very nervy and I had to coach her the whole way through the courses. But when we went higher she really couldn't go any further and although she didn't cry you could tell it was one ladder too far! So one of the instructors came up and wow what a gent. He was in the military for 6 years calm patient and soft spoken. I think his name was Chris from Go Ape Bracknell and would like to show my appreciation to him. He managed to coach her through to the end of the stage and finish. Great job

I should have been going to London to do a hearing, which I was looking forward to. But it's been cancelled so I'm in the office all day

Woke up in my own bed, got big cuddles from my kids and brewed a coffee while listening to them natter.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Covered nearly 200miles on my Fireblade
Rode from Reading to Loomies taking as many twisty roads there and back as we could... got home... decided that 100mile sunny ride was just a warm up and got back out for a ride to Alton's Station cafe
Only just got home. Amazing day! Working away at my chicken strips although my cornering is still shite... :p
Saw lots of police out and about... but thankfully I ride like an angel

At the aviation viewing park with the boys. Its pretty good tbh. Were about 300 metre from runway but taxi road goes right in front of our picnic table. They have a Concorde, dc10 and Nimrod we can have a look round too. Sun is shining and got a nice picnic so happy days.

Nutz didn't realise it was open this week. Let us know. I have drove past it a few times and each time it was taking shape more and more. Can't believe it's taken that long for someone to do something with that open space!

My ears are ok, but then I was in the mosh pit, not stood with my head in a bass bin like you Rich!
I'm currently chilling out and resting my bruised body with the Thurston Moore album "The Best Days" in preparation for next month's gig. It's certainly hitting the spot at the moment.
