If it was that's a great buy. My problem is I'm too cynical and paranoid and don't believe a single word sales men tell me.

Adjusted the chain.
Get used to this task Perkles. 190 bhp on a skinny 525 pitch chain makes it a very regular task
But boy is it good fun stretching the dam thing

Fitted the R&G rear spindle bobbins. Looks tidy with the round blanking plates.

Found out that the traction control Mode 2 stops you from doing power wheelies when you're racing an M3 away from the lights
The front comes up but not by far before it kicks in with the throttle control. It's very smooth.

Nothing to the bike but booked in for an S1000RR test ride on Saturday afternoon weather permitting.
After what PB magazine were saying last week it would be rude not too. And the demo bike is a Motosport version.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
If i had planned in advance a bit better i could have taken it out for the whole afternoon today. dealer said they like you to have at least a couple of hours on the bike but obviously that isn't so easy on a Saturday when they have more requests for test rides.
They were very keen for me to try the bike even though i said i wouldn't be buying one this year.

That's a good dealer Duke. Probably happy to get miles on it abs get it run in. Plus if you like it they know you will tell all your mates.

700 miles from new? Some people have too much (or too little) money.
Edit - that is aimed at the person selling after barely running it in.

Put all the standard bits back on ready to trade in,I have to say it's much more fun putting bling on than the olds bits
