Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Fitted the open airbox and took it for a quick blast.
To start with I couldn't see what all the fuss is about, it didn't sound of feel any different to before. That was until I hit the first nsl, and cracked the throttle wide open. The front lifted immediately and it sounded like there was a moto gp bike under me. Fooking hell what a noise..
Stopped off for fuel and bumped into a biker having a bad day. He had come down from Northampton to pick up a new bike, just stopped off to fill up for the ride home and the fuel was just pouring onto the forecourt. Not a lot I could do to help but use my bike as a road block to keep the garage staff happy and wait for the dealer to arrive.

Terrible news for the guy on the new biker. Good in you for assisting Nutz and I hope the dealer looked after him.

Had a little play with a Ferrari 458 today.
He thought flooring the accelerator would leave me for dust.....now he knows otherwise.

Fitted a new can to the NC29.
Thought I'd pop the removable baffle out and took it for a spin. How loud is too loud?
Baffles going back in first thing tomorrow.

Took her down to Swindon around about 115 miles all in took some cracking roads with beautiful scenery just a shame about the poor road surface. However thoroughly enjoyed the ride after not using it since our Stow on the Wold outting

See your bike is so fast, Mick, you find it hard to stand up straight when you stop for a break.kingfixer wrote:Took it to tetbury for coffee and cake

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
ended up finding one new coffee place in Marlborough, since to old place has gone, and the one across the road is a rip off and does not like bikers.... Found a cracking road which I have never been down to before, a must for next time out.
Watched sprint racing on MOD base, was a bit of a mystery tour with the RAT boys, knew we were out, but did not know what to expect. Great day as we took on the role of marshals to get close to the action, handy they were ok for Marshals so a day sitting in the sun watching was good enough.
Also having a whole airfield and riding the track when we left, was too much for me to control my need to pull a wheelie, managed a little throttle feathering and kept the tiger up for what seemed ages, most likely not, but hey I was happy ha ha ha ha.....
Hopefully I managed to take some good pics, need to take a look over the next few nights.
Oh yeah I had cake for breakfast in the new cafe....the feed back on the full breakfast by those who had it was 10/10 nice views inside as well

Current forecast for sunday is looking pretty good, 17 degrees and dry maybe a little windy....
I could be up for a ride, just need to check I'm allowed out to play..

Tank pad. R and G cover, squire lock to go with my 16mm chain, one of the datatool grip locks.
I've gone with a grip lock instead of a disc lock as it's a more visible deterrent and you can't forget it's there.
