Victoria Coren-Mitchell Kwackers, sorry mate.! ;)

I used to have an admin who was a doppelgänger for VCM. Bright little young thing too, and she used to flirt constantly with me which was entertaining. (happy).

I know he became; Persona non Gratis, but Have I got News for You was definitely at it's best with Angus Deayton at the helm IMHO.

On a related (sort of) subject, here's our forthcoming PM in action.
:S Lest we forget.!

"Indiana Jones And The Temple Of The Lost Doom Ark....Revisited"

Poor Harry Ford.....the lad can never seem to stay out of a room that collapses on him with knives and Wookies and some hapless lass involved....he's a fecker to stay away from.....no wonder he lives on a ranch in Montana or sommit...no-one wants him around.

Never mind Harrison Ford - where do I go to hire people that can build traps and devices that still work perfectly thousands of years after they were installed?
P.S. That's not exclusive to Indy Jones, films like the Goonies also have kit that functions perfectly whilst covered in the dust of centuries. Grump over.

Watched the Shakespeare Birthday show last night from the RSC, apart from the Operatic content (not a fan) I thought it was excellent, the Othello + Desdemona dance pair were my personal favourite. (clap)

:D :D I think the answer to that is "Not Italy!!"

Badass point though....I love spotting the flaws in movies...sleight of hand on a grand scale!!

I watched the first hour of that last night and it made for compulsive viewing, fortunately my good lady hit the record button before it started, so we can finish watching it at our leisure. Sadly I suspect it'll never be a well known film simply because of a lack of car chases, firearms etc.

I suspect Italy would be one of a long long list of countries that couldn't produce something that would still operate flawlessly after centuries of decay, Germany included, I guess the film makers rely on the "suspension of disbelief" for all that - there's not many films out there that I can think of that don't rely on it at some point in their script.

Depends how you look at it.....The Coliseum in Rome prolly gets more customers than ever...and more leave alive too...so in a sense it 'operates' better than ever...I'll bet it costs a fortune to get in.

Clearly not WSBK Imola Superpole as Eurosport have decided not to show it live as snooker and cycling is on live instead.

Shame on you Eurosport I thought you were a motorcycling channel (blush)

Jungle Book

I really enjoyed it. I'm not 100% sure they got the voice casting right for a couple of characters but otherwise it's a good mix of the book and the Disney classic/

Something called the people not room/ cyberbully it was on ages ago but my partner said it was good. It's about a couple who buy a new house and hear noises from next door and arguments. That's all I know
