Re: What you watching?
I only watched the opening scene, just for research purposes.
I'll have the full film on tonight.
My wife thinks the TV is too small for watching films so I might be looking at getting a new one. TBH I'm not a massive fan of large screens. This one is 36 inches and that seems big enough for me.

I thought that, then I got a 60 incher Sony all singing all dancing thing. Awesome for watching blu-rays with surround sound on and when kids come to stay just whack on a 3D flick and a bowl of popcorn then you're the best uncle ever

Re: What you watching?
Oh, I got £1000 off the price of the tv as it was display model with no box but came with an extra year warranty and manufacturers warranty. There's deals to be had.

Re: What you watching?
4K panel prices are coming down to the point where you might as well get one over a 1080P
49" one here for just over 500 quid

That is cheap. I'll see what Mrs Kwacky wants to do. I'm really not bothered to be honest..

A film called pixels with Adam Sandler. I personally found it really good, one of Adam Sandler's better films in my personal opinion

That's a good piece of entertainment. I really enjoyed it. I took the kids and although they didn't get the 80s gaming references they still enjoyed it.

Re: What you watching?
That's what a good film can do, it makes all ages enjoy it. Although it's strange because I can't remember it ever going out to cinema?!

That's a good price. Something like that will be on the cards. Where the aerial socket and power socket is in my new house I won't be able to wall mount my current tv because it will overhang the chimney breast by 6inches or so....1st world problems hey??

Star Trek!! Picard and his crew are getting up to high jinx & shenanigans again with some aliens who don't like anybody at all....the big surprise is, they're going to try and take over The Enterprise to pursue their nefarious goals.
Commercial breaks have never looked better.

Re: What you watching?
My kids have that on Blueray. It's my sons favourite movie atm so I've seen it about a dozen times. Still enjoy it, except when he asked me if I played Galactica in "the olden days"Rossgo wrote:A film called pixels with Adam Sandler. Re: What you watching?
I wasn't either Kwacky, until I got a 55" HD TV and watched a blueray on it. I was glad I got railroaded into getting it after that!Kwacky wrote:That is cheap. I'll see what Mrs Kwacky wants to do. I'm really not bothered to be honest..

Re: What you watching?
Why? Because my son asked to watch it with me when I got home from work. So we sat on the sofa having a cuddle watching a film together. He's a lad, I won't get many opportunities to do that with him because he'll soon grow out of it.D41 wrote:Why?????

Re: What you watching?
Golden Eye, what a crock of shite. Forgotten how crap Brosnan was. It's only redeeming feature is the nostalgic sounds I'm remembering from the game, particularly Gorky Park.
