Feel I should point out why I'm here instead of the rideout...Itchy wrote:In the cinema, about to watch Batman vs Superman.
My work ran late yesterday, the original plan of taking the kids to see it yesterday afternoon was scuppered so we said we'd do it today instead.
Then I still got roped into wandering around a garden centre for an hour and a half!
I know it probs doesn't matter to anyone, just wanted to get it straight!

Don't forgot the extra warm up session for Motogp at 1pm today due to Michelin pulling both rear tyres after Scott Redding tyres delaminated in fp4 yesterday.
Check out pictures of his injuries on Twitter. Huge bruise on his back is not from any crash but being hit by exploding tyre

Re: What you watching?
Fwiw "My family & other animals" was one of my favourite books when I was a young boy.Deegee wrote:Just watched "The Durrells" on ITV, very good tv.
It has been so long that I have only vague recollections, excepting the overall story & the fact that I really enjoyed it.
So I was expecting to really like this.
However I felt that this first episode was rather rushed with too much in some ways & not enough in others.
I'm hoping that this is just an attempt to set the scene & create interest for people who haven't the same preconceptions, and with luck it will turn out to be as enthralling as I would wish.

Re: What you watching?
Very much rushed, what I'm worried about is the natural progression of the books to be sacrificed for "entertainment". Looking forward to the next episode very much.

Re: What you watching?
Finally finished the last season of Daredevil, which I liked. I'm hoping they do a Punisher TV series as the actor is spot on.

Commercials!!
With smatterings of some TV show thrown in from time to time to ease the boredom....barely.
The History Channel is nowt like what is used to be.....used to be all WWII stuff...cool stuff like "Hitler's Bodyguard", "World War II In Color" (Frickin' awesome!) etc.......these days it's all "Look At The Old Sh*t We Found In A Barn!!"....sign of the times, I guess....the WWII generation are all but gone these days.

Re: What you watching?
I once had the miss fortune of watching 8 hours of American telly. I was in New York, had jet lag and couldn't sleep. 300 channels of adverts, very very long adverts on repeat! Most of them about some new miraculous fitness training device, which was somewhat ironic.
