I'll try and get the bike sorted next week so we can go out the following weekend.

I like Nitron stuff. I think it's underrated and frequently overlooked.

Ordered a new rectifier for the kwak under warranty. They'll give me a call when it's in.
Booked the test ride on the Z1000sx for tomorrow after the Tiger ride.
I might take the morning off and book a test ride on the zx10r when I have to take the zx6r in.

I pondered buying the Z1000sx a while back, looks a cracking bit of kit.

It's the pro but apparently it's been sold to me to fit the wrong year of bike !! So looks like it's not going to fit, bugger !! I will sell it on on the cbr1000rr forum.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
After Monty reminding me that there is more of the A272 to ride, I did.... Oh how I have forgotten how good that road is heading into Sussex. The little section past the golf course is sweet, no traffic either, what there was, got dismissed pretty quick, Loomies was rammed too.
Rode many, many a good road today, All the A272 from Winchester to the A24, doubled back via via the Surrey hills, blasted the A3 through the Hindhead tunnel at national speed limit (average speed check) great sound, back on the A272 then to Alton in a roundabout way, up to Basingstoke, then on to Newbury, up the Wantage road, hooned about all around that way making my way back toward Henley and home... Not before a quick cuppa at BMW..
What a lovely days riding, I am shattered now!!! I love my bike.... and my safety strips on the new rear are still there ha ha ha, god knows how!!! I thought I had scrubbed them in today ha ha

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went to get it out of the shed to find the front brakes where welded on. Going to need to spend some time cleaning the calipers up I think.
Looked at the overall state of the bike and decided I don't have the time or energy to try and clean it, so it's going to have a trip to shiny bike syndrome over the next week or so for a proper clean.
