Done all the cleaning, washing kitchen bathroom etc. Filled up with fuel as my fuel light has been on for what feels like weeks! And now just finished watching The Guilt Trip with Seth Rogen while stuffing my face with Terrys choc orange and biscuits.

Yes, I'm over here doing a basic course in the tech involved in the kit I work with, sadly you can't do anything else until this course is done. I've already started, I did some practical homework on the local cuisine tonight.StMarks wrote:Lovely looking place, is that for work Deegee,?

Work training trips always look better than they are. 8 hrs in a classroom really puts a dampener on a trip in my experience. Not that they are without their positives!StMarks wrote:With work like that, who needs holidays.!

I'm lucky to have been working for or with French, Italian and Spanish companies for the last 15 years and got to travel quite a bit. I've had some amazing food over the years especially when travelling with the locals, but nothing compares to the Spanish Basque region, unbelievably good.
If anyone ever fancies a foody weekend break I can't recommend San Sebastian enough. It's seriously the food capitol of the world.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Every course I've ever done seems to have been presented by a bloke in his fifties, the beer gut appears about half the times as well. Even had one presented a great big bear of guy who wore Jesus boots 365 days a year, even in the factory environment. He was a lead designer of computerised systems though, so I guess a bit of eccentricity goes with the territory.

When I did my Freefall Lifeboat Course in the middle of last year, it was taken by a 6 ft bleach blonde chick. She wasn't to bad on the eye but I had more in the chest department than her!

Rewatched a docudrama on 4od called Blackout. It's about Britian diving into a power shortage and what people would end up doing in that type of situation. Kinder scary in all honesty

Re: What are you doing today ??
A visit to my dermatologist.
I think it was during my absence from TS I had a large Basal Cell Carcinoma cut from my nose and a skin graft to cover the sizeable divot. I was getting 6 monthly skin checks post that and over the first three he cut suspect moles out each visit. All came back clear. The visits got pushed out to a year and had the first one today.
Three biopsies, a few stitches and $420 later I emerged from his office. Got to wait a week for the results. Two I'm not concerned about but there was one that has come up next to my graft on my nose which is concerning. Feel like a freakin' pin cushion.

I remember that. It was pretty well done but I wasn't too sure what message it was trying to put across.

I think it wasb just showing us how reliant we all are on power, however it did say something about a terrorist group causing disruption so it could potentially be showing us an area thatb we haven't got enough security in?! I did enjoy watching it though!

Watching a frozen computer screen, wondering how long they can convince us the current system doesn't need replacing.
