Off to a mate's 40th
Sadly I feel like shit. Banging headache and upset stomach. It could be an early night.

Handed in my bike to garage for them to take a look. Also done a bit of shopping and trying g to train the cat to go toilet outside...hasn't really worked so instead just took the litter tray and put it outside...unsure if she has used it outside yet though!

Reading Guy Martins auto biography, drinking beer, supervising my kids in the pool at a resort on the Gold Coast in Queensland. My daughter made friends with a little girl who's dad I got chatting too, turns out he rides a triumph adventurer and is a cameraman for channel ten and does primarily motorsports. Oh, got my white self sunburnt.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Re: What are you doing today ??
So far...took the dog out for a walk, washed the dogs blankets and bedding, put out last night's washing, put out this morning's washing, put away all the dish washing stuff back into the cupboards, done the hoovering, mopped the floors, tidied up , made a fuss of the cat and also watched a film and now watching a second film and been on the 675 forum and got myself all confused about wanting another Daytona - I'm confused as more annoyed because I know I can't get one as really not in a financial safe spot for a change over. Not bad since 0450 this morning!
Yesterday booked up a nice long weekend away to Bude in the summer time for my GF birthday.

Erm, not yet mate. Goes on the market Monday, but the market round here is pretty good so with luck it shouldn't take long to sell.Blade wrote:Is your place sold then Jon ?

Re: What are you doing today ??
Good luck with the move, I've just done mine. what a bloody nightmare.
I spent a couple of months painting everything magnolia and de-cluttering everywhere . Put it up for sale on a Thursday in September and accepted an offer on the monday. 20k less than the asking price but got a reduction of 15k on the one I wanted.
Still didn't move until 1st week in December and no chains involved.
As soon as I saw who my buyers solicitor was I knew I was in for a bumpy ride and boy I wasn't wrong. We literally had to stand behind him to look at the documents sent to him as most of the time it took weeks for him to get round to doing so.
This is move number 14 for me so know the practice like the back of my hand but this has got to be the easiest but took the longest.
Quickest turnaround I had was 1 week which was a bit hairy
I hope all goes smoothly for you

Re: What are you doing today ??
Tons of paperwork, and defo gotta take the tree down today.
My house gets auctioned in a few weeks....GF doesn't seem to understand I'm moving back to the UK, and thinks renting an apartment is the answer.....HELLO??......Have you seen how much stuff I have in here??
She just don't get it, and I refuse to feel bad as I told her all this stuff when we met.....hey, me Dad is in his end-of-life period, and it's just something I feel obligated to do.

Ahh.....just waking up after a wonderfully rejuvenating sleep, and now contemplating breakfast....as well as idly wondering why one tuft of hair on my head has never stayed down for 47 years??

Nope.....I haven't worked since 2013.Kwacky wrote:I take it everyone is back at work seeing as it's so quiet on here.
BUT....today is exactly one year since my wreck, so I'll figure out a way to celebrate somehow....mebbe a big breakfast somewhere nice....'pain perdu' sounds good right now.
That reads badly.
