No, just an ordinary pair. I quite like the stock mirrors.

No you don't really, that's just your sensible side trying to justify not getting the Rizoma one's

Took the GPZ out for a quick bimble before, my new Kevlar jeans arrived today and thought it a good opportunity to go out see how fit etc, well the jeans are great but the bike is brilliant, still using too many revs to get away from lights etc but its just a case of getting on using it, happy days

Washed the Multi and prepped it ready for Sunday.
Also knocked the bearings out of the 5 spoke front wheel for the 748 in readiness for the powdercoating. I've ordered some tyre levers to have a go at removing the tyres.

Duke, if you've got some old bolts or plugs for the bolt holes, then put them in, saves a load of work scraping out the bolt holes after it's been powdercoated. I made some wooden plugs for the centres as well for the same reason. Depends on the powdercoater as some can mask them but charge more?duke63 wrote:Washed the Multi and prepped it ready for Sunday.

Got a nod from a copper on a police bike (rare around here) and rode past a BBC News film crew.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I'm so glad I was on the bike today. The traffic was a nightmare. One of the main by passes in Coventry was shut as an HGV decided to shed its load over both sides of the road. On top of that some muppet on the M6 had clipped the central reservation, span his car about and ended up in the outside lane whilst spraying car parts across all 3 lanes.

Just fitting a new battery, after 6hrs of charging its got all of 10.8v in it.... I suspect I may have got a lemon masquerading as a battery.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Was about to fit the new carbon hugger, took the old one off got new one out of box and I'm not happy with it, it's twice the size of the hugger I've taken off and the quality and the finish is by far not acceptable, it's a Skidmarks design and I've heard some bad reviews about the quality of there stuff before, very happy with the carbon seat unit but this hugger has got to go back.
I get knocked down but i get up again.

The hugger that's on there at the moment is far better quality it's just a bit tatty, might look again at getting it re sprayed.
