Re: Dog Ownership
Oh shot. That's really sad news. At least he was with someone and having cuddles when he passed.
Go off somewhere and have a massive sob. Don't bottle it in. Let it all out mate.

Very sorry for your loss Cav, don't think there's much more to say that's going to alleviate your upset mate.

Jeez Cav. That's a sad thing. At least he wasn't on his own and had been loved. All a dog wants.

Re: Dog Ownership
Lost both our fur babies within 3 months of each other 3 years ago.
Still hurts. Its like losing children, they meant that much to us. My wife was severely depressed for months. She still hasn't gotten over it.
Still brings tears to the eyes when ya remember them.
Never forgotten.
All the best pal.

Re: Dog Ownership
Thanks guys
I wasn't able to get any emotion out yesterday so not sure how it's going to work today.. in all honesty I don't think it's sunk in.
The main thing is that Dillon was in his happiest place and died when he was ready, this is the first pet death without being put to sleep by the vet. If you could choose the end of your life I think he would have chosen this.
