In that case i would use stainless and grease the threads, stainless can cold weld and gall the threads without some lube in there.

I know you are Kwacky anyways, but totally agree with the above. Especially with your weather conditions I’d be worried about galvanic corrosion using aluminium on steel. Plus aluminium work hardens very easily (becomes brittle from repeated cyclic stresses/vibration).
