What is it about UK bank holidays? We have had the heating on most of the weekend. Woke up to snow on the ground this morning.
Its finally stopped raining at 6pm on bank holiday Monday with a hint of the sunshine.
Tomorrow - Back at work - 13degrees dry and sunshine.

Light drizzle for today, according to the weather forecast.
I could have sailed into work this morning.

This morning whilst I was out taking my dog for a run, I was told by a Farmer neighbour of mine that next week we will be hotter here than in Monaco.?
He was telling me his sheep also hate this extended bleak wet weather.

I went through a couple of flooded bridges and big puddles this morning. Bit interesting when your ground clearance is a couple of inches!

Been fairly fortunate around here then, travelled from Berks to Cardiff and had no rain whatsoever, however it was bucketing it down early morning

Well I don’t know what you are doing with your weather there but we are having an unseasonably warm and dry autumn. The weather is near in perfect. High 20’s-low 30’s during the day and high teens at night.

It's cold, damp and crap here. Every morning it's rained as I've ridden into work and it's been the same most evenings. I'm glad I invested in some top quality riding kit.

if it carries on you'll need to invest in a jet ski for your commute

So looks like I may see snow at my place for the first time since I’ve lived here. Had light sleet a few times. During winter it’s not uncommon to get snow about 20 km (and 300m higher) up the mountain range from where I live, so if this forecaster is right I reckon we will get a dumping at some stage!
