Followed exactly as stated mate.StMarks wrote:Did you remember to install the correct driver BEFORE attaching the cable mate. As I pointed out earlier, the most common problem we experience at 675.ccc is with people attaching the cable & allowing windows to install the driver it thinks is correct.
Then the connection with your bike cannot be made, no matter what you try.

Re: TuneECU - Daytona 600
Open TuneECU. Open your basemap. Under FILE, select Import PCIII Table. Select your saved PCIII table. This will import the table into the F Trim table Under EDIT, select Commit Trims. Save this new map under a new name. Reset adaptions/TPS.StMarks wrote:chris wrote:Scrap that worked it outSeriously.!!
Frankly I am surprised it's possible. How did you manage it please.?

Re: TuneECU - Daytona 600
I have an "off switch" on the light control cluster of my 675, so no need for me.jlawie wrote:Is everyone pulling the headlight fuse when doing this??
Although I would always choose to connect my Optimate whilst running TuneEcu anyway, not worth the risk of not doing IMHO.

Re: TuneECU - Daytona 600
Optimates on. Battery fully charged. Uninstalled and really installed all drivers but nothing!
Killswitch set to run - that's correct right?
How longs connection normally take?

How long did you wait? You normally get a failed to connect error message if there is a problem.

Also the light only comes on when it can see the ECU, so your half way therejlawie wrote:Cable lights on...so the plug on the bike must be fine.
Might try a different laptop instead

Looks like as you say your only option is to try a different laptop or cable.

Re: TuneECU - Daytona 600
from what I've read I worked it out to be :
load the standard map from the bikes ecu or the mahoosive list of seemingly random numbers which it is apparently 20028
then click file, then import pc table then select the power commander map, from what I've read it adjusts the map to the power commander figures then save is as a new map and send it to the bike
its what it said in the tune ecu instructions along with a lot of crap I cant understand

Re: TuneECU - Daytona 600
Uninstalled, reinstalled.
Fuses pulled.
Optimate on.
Kill switch set to run.
Ignition on.
Nothing!
Does the battery have to be 100% charged? Won't just plugging the optimate in do the same thing?

No the optimate does not have to plugged in, and a fully charged battery is 100% fine.jlawie wrote: Does the battery have to be 100% charged? Won't just plugging the optimate in do the same thing?

Re: TuneECU - Daytona 600
Want to agree with that...
But I've manually installed and manually uninstalled.
And used the auto installer and uninstaller from the TuneEcu website.
Had the bike on charge all day, so hope it's something silly like that.
