Re: Gaming thread
Best dog fighting games I've ever played are the Battlefield series which I think the Battlefront game comes from (BF1942, BF Vietnam, BF2, BF3 and BF4) BF1942 is now free from Origin, very old but still a lot of fun. You also get to drive tanks, jeeps, artillery pieces, anti aircraft guns and from BF Vietnam onwards helicopters.

Re: Gaming thread
Choppers are so hard to fly in BF4. I am ok for a while, but once I get out of shape I can't recover.
It's funny crashing a transport chopper with a load of people inside. And you then get loads of abuse from all who died. Hahhaahah

That's what I'm struggling with on the PS4. I miss my keyboard and mouse - it's faster and more accurate.

I can't seem to get the speed and accuracy for the shooting games with the PS4 pads.

My laptop does have windows on it though, but that's only because of work.
You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive.

My work laptop does, but I never really use it unless I'm on the road. I run Windows 7 in a VirtualBox VM on my desktop for apps that won't translate to Linux and my own laptop is a Mac.D6Nutz wrote:dogbot wrote:I spend 75% of my life in front of PCs. Sod playing games on them, too.

I've got a Mac laptop with a boot camped copy of Window 10 which I can either run directly or as a VM in Parallelsdogbot wrote:My work laptop does, but I never really use it unless I'm on the road. I only use Window 10 for games, well I would if half of them hadn't stopped working in Windows 10.

Re: Gaming thread
Last night my son was playing the Battleforce version of Capture the Flag. I told him the tactics and within a couple of games he got the hang of it and was doing really well.

Sentinel__404 if anyone wants me.

Still hammering Fallout 4 right now. I said to the missus I'd make a brew once I'd finished this mission.
40 minutes later she asked me where it was.
I still hadn't finished!
