For those that are interested this book is an amazing read about the TT.
Kiwi recommended it too me (cheers mate) and can only say its a fantastic read. I m not a book read by nature and could probably count on one hand the total amount of books I have read, but can honestly say I couldn't put this book down and read it within a few days.
I would definitely recommend it and it will get you in the mood for the forth coming TT 2015.

I still haven't bought it! I forgot all about it, I was planning on getting that once I finished the Guy Martin one. Best I buy it tonight. There is going to be quite a pile of parcels waiting for me once I get home.
EDIT: Sorted, thanks for the reminder Blade!

Weather forecasts seem decent, let's hope they can stick to the schedule.

Reports on twitter that some of the locals are offering campers a floor for the night so they can escape the crap weather.
That's what it's all about IMO.

To be honest if a local invited me in to their family home to help shelter from the weather I would gladly buy the beers and take away for the night

Blade...so would I! I mean seriously if they offering shelter I think we would want out of the rain and to show appreciation of what they offered and gave to me I would be happy to buy a take a away or bottle of something for them or whatever. It's such a nice gesture them allowing a stranger Ingo their home bits the least I would be able to do

I wish they would junk that appalling King of the Mountain music on ITV. It's so cliched and frankly shit!

Sidecar race 1 today, with the Superbike race moved to tomorrow, I've been told by a TT regular that these days they don't need much of an excuse to cancel Mad Sunday due to the inevitable accidents and deaths, tbh an unofficial policy like that wouldn't surprise me.
