VFR800 is the only Japanese bike with an option of a quickershifter.

We had a bit of fun getting there though and as I said not the model you would have expected.

How weird is it that they offer it on a sports tourer when the best bikes IMO would be the 600 supersport where your up and down the box all the time. Would be great on an R6 or ZX6R.

Although I've only done one track session on it, I was amazed at how much a difference it made riding a bike with a quickshifter teamed up with a slipper clutch...

A quickshifter when getting a move on is a useful tool to have from the few times i have tried one.

I had one on the RC8 for a while, but sold it as I didn't really need it on the roads. Track yes of course.

As Duke says they are a really good bit of kit. I genuinely didn't think I would rate then but test road a number of bikes last year with them and I loved it.

Just out of interested for info out of the Ducati, Aprilla and Triumph OEM quickshifters I tried on test rides the Triumph one was the best by a country mile.
