Re: What are you doing today ??
Spent the day at my partners house on a kitchen seat in the living room because there was so many of us, being very uncomfortable watching absolute crap on telly in a very hot room. Not my ideal way of spending new years to be honest was glad to leave

Dossing. Kids are out for the day with my dad and his wife. Mrs Kwacky is at work. Bit of a waste of a day off to be honest.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Oldest son and his other half finally had a day off from the pub/restaurant following the Christmas rush (30% more business than last year!), so was rushing round seeing parents and doing Christmas presents. News of the day was sprung on us and it seems 2015 is going to see me being a Grandad.
How on earth can I be a Grandad? I haven't even figured out how to be a Dad properly yet!
Still, congrats to them both , I think they'll make great parents, they're both in their late twenties, so in a way I'm not surprised - biological clocks etc. It should be the beginning of September if their sums are right, I've got no idea how Becky will look with a bump, she's 5ft 2" and looks like a good wind would blow her away, oh and twins run heavily in her family......

Packed the kids off with their grandparents, been to the pet shop to get some food for the spiders, walked the dog, tidied the house, been to the gym, now sitting down to watch Batman Begins.

Doing the grand Christmas clear up, decorations down, packed and back in loft, roughly twenty or so boxes, Jiffy bags and gift bags to recycle or bin, loads of bubble wrap and two bin bags of wrapping paper to get shot of.
Funny how the house always looks bigger after all the deco's come down.

Did go out for a little spin on the tiger, felt almost like summer, well compared to the last few days, well until the sun went in and it got very cold.

We did ours yesterday and both said how much bigger the house felt, well today was a good day, spent from just after i posted on here this morning till about half 5 rebuilding the bike, Shea nearly there so will finish it on the morning, pics will follow, oh and also went to meet a man about a snake (not a euphemism) and came home with a lovely little baby Brazilian rainbow boa. Successful day!Deegee wrote:Doing the grand Christmas clear up, decorations down, packed and back in loft, roughly twenty or so boxes, Jiffy bags and gift bags to recycle or bin, loads of bubble wrap and two bin bags of wrapping paper to get shot of.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Meant to get rid of the christmas tree, but didn't quite get round to it...
Had two estate agents round to value the house today, then went to get mine and James hair cut, followed by a trip into town.. Wish I'd managed to get out on the bike, especially as I saw a mint 899 pull out behind me. Off for a second viewing on the house we like tomorrow so no chance of getting the bike out tomorrow.

Went to the new restaurant in Bracknell called The Smoke house. My partner ordered half a chicken what we didn't realise was it was literally a chicken just cut in half. it almost took up the plate, needles to say she didn't eat it all! Anyone around that area check it out. It's under the bridge by Maccy D's and cross the road on the right. Used to be a pub. Now it's some American themed restaurant. I really should of taken a pic but I was starving and grobbled my pulled pork all up!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Trying to find some patience. Went back for a second viewing and made an offer on it.
There are a couple of other interested parties so it looks like a bit of a waiting game note now. Speaking to the agent Monday to put our place on the market.
