Bamboo sheet set. Apparently they are like sleeping on clouds. Just got to get home to try them now!

I've got an old Canon DSLR which I've used for over 10 years (its been very good) but its tired and i got fed up of how big and heavy it is. I wanted a fast camera that I can change lenses, but is only a little bigger than a point and shoot. I've had a play and its brilliant - much easier to use on manual than an DSLR too. Its got very high quality HD video too

I'll try and sell the old DSLR to offset some of the cost - thats how the man maths justified it

Re: Mr Postman
I got some new batteries for my Nikon today. Not used it for two years and they'd died.
Going to make an effort to stop using the phone as I've stopped thinking about the photos I'm taking and just snapping at everything.

I've had a D60 Nikon which I busted and moved to a bridging camera Nikon P520 but at times find it limiting, no bulb setting, max exposure is 8 secs, very limited aperture etc. I have been toying with the idea of getting another DSLR as I've starting playing with ND filters and 8 sec just isn't enough to get the good results. But I can't justify a brand new one for the once or twice a month I'd get it out.
And I will try to remember to measure that rack for you when I get back!

Re: Mr Postman
Its a 350D. You do need something with up to 30 secs and bulb - especially for star photography, which i like doing (badlykiwikrasher wrote:

Re: Mr Postman
I haven't tried star trails yet... don't know if I can be bothered with all the stacking and post editing required. I've been doing waterfalls at daytime and just balancing the ND filter strength with the max 8 sec exposure of the P520.
I'll have a read up on the 350D.. what lens have you got for it?
